- Non Stick Warming Plate.
- Gla ss Ca rafe With Removable Lid
- Anti-drip valve.
- Swing-out cone filter basket
- Water level indicator
- Auto pause and pour
This is quite a pleasant eye opener, for such a low price this machine punches well above it weight. With a 10 cup capacity (supposedly – more about this later) and plenty of standard fea tures which make this filter cofffee machine comparable with many much more expensive models.
The Pros
- Easy to work
- Keeps coffee warm – drinkable temp all day (some may think this is actually a drawback but if th e coffee is kept too hot for too long you do increase the bitterness of the drink)
- A basic device so there is very little to go wrong with it;
- Easily visible water level,
- Comes with a serving spoon and a reusable filter
- The automatic shut-off valve is useful – if you can’t wait, you can take the jug out before it finishes perking and the flow of coffee stops.
The Cons
- The main drawback with this filter coffee machine is the build quality it feels a little lightweight but what do you expect for less than £15;
- The jug is quite small – the 10 cups advertised can only be of esspresso size. A full jug gives just over 4 decent mugs;
- The top of the jug is fairly narrow and the lid is fixed. It is difficult to get your hands in to wash it, and to stand it upside down to drain/dry.
Top Tip
Although the reusable filter is useful, you can use paper filters which work slightly better, and are much less hassle cleaning.
Verdict
There is not to say about this filter coffee machine other than “The value = unbelievable”. For further information Click Here
