Excellent review. For its price i think this is a very good Espresso machine for those who like their varieties of hot beverages yet don't want to spend a fortune on one or go out to the cafe every day.

Take a bag of tea and dump out the tea and fill it with your favorite coffee. Then staple it back together and steap your coffe just like you would tea. Or buy the T pouch coffee bags at your market already made. They are really better and more cost efective than any other Method !

" This espresso machine is proof of that. Firstly, this machine has previously come top of the list of Which? Best Buys for machines under ?200 and this has really helped people with confidence in this machine."
How much is it possible?

Lots of options here...

1) Cowboy coffee. Pour the coffee directly into boiling water. Drape the filter over the cup, secured with a rubber band. Slowly pour the coffee into the cup, using the filter to remove the coffee grinds.

2) Put coffee or tea into a filter, then staple it shut. put it in the cup, and pour the boiling water on top of it. Let it steep, then remove the makeshift "tea bag."

Cheers.

All a coffee machine does is heat up the water, pass it through the beans / filter and into the pot. So depending on how much time or patience you have you should be able to do the same thing.

maybe use a strainer and set the filter inside the strainer and run hot / boiling water through it into your pot or some other container.
References :
my best guess is that you clip the filter to a cup and boil some water and then pour it into the filter while the coffee grinds are in there and then after the cup is full add milk and sugar
References :
I don't know much at all about coffee.
Maybe you should ask a friend or someone if you could borrow their coffee machine?

do you have a strainer?
put the pouch in the strainer, and put it over a cup/bowl. then dump boiling water on it?
Or, use it like a tea bag?
I dont drink coffee, so it's just a guess..
References :
One scoop per cup
Make sure its the right coffee for the use..if you use a Bodum cafetiere it needs to be less fine than if you use a filter.
Biggest mistake: too hot water, basically you are scorching it if you do it directly from the kettle to the coffee..give it a few seconds , like counting to twenty.
Make sure its always fresh water, pour the old one away ( water your plants with it)
If you use a machine descale it once in a while and clean it.

As to Nescafe..life is too short to drink Nescafe...:-)

Maybe you can tell us which method you use so more specific tips can be added
